Mechanical Technician Wanted!

Are you a hands-on Mechanical Technician with strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for precision work? We’re seeking an experienced technician to join a leading manufacturer based in Balcatta. This role offers stable hours, an excellent pay rate, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a clean, well-equipped workshop.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Technician, you’ll be responsible for the assembly, inspection, and calibration of mechanical components and equipment. You’ll use a variety of hand and power tools to manufacture, service, and maintain high-quality products that meet strict specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and assemble mechanical parts using basic hand tools
• Strip, disassemble, and reassemble products using spanners, hammers, tongs, and Allen keys
• Inspect, clean, and prepare parts using wire brushes, linishers, bench grinders, and drills
• Calibrate and test equipment according to product specifications
• Record service and calibration data accurately on history sheets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Use of ERP systems

Successful candidates will have:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
• Mechanical fitting background (including experience with oxy-acetylene equipment and small lathes)
• A valid National Police Clearance (within the last 3 months) or willingness to obtain one
• Willing to provide 2 references
